The Liberum Volucris combines a compact metal body with a built-in vacuum filling system and a transparent window for checking the ink level at a glance. Choose a brushed titanium or stone-washed brass body and a #6 stainless steel nib in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium, or Broad.

The vacuum filler draws ink directly from a bottle or travel inkwell, without cartridges or converters. Its clipless, screw-on cap posts for a full-length writing grip. Choose titanium for a lighter, corrosion-resistant body, or brass for a heavier feel and a patina that develops with handling and use (simply wipe the brass body with a soft cloth to remove fingerprints and oils). The section is threaded for JoWo #6 housings, making it easy to swap nib grades or upgrade the complete unit.

WRITING TIP
For extended writing sessions, remember to loosen the blind end knob slightly to open the shut-off valve and allow ink to flow freely from the main reservoir to the nib.
